Mr. Sajjan Pratap Singh who is the ‘Founder Director’ of IIIASA (Indian Institute IAS Aspirants), comes from the ‘city of Joy’ Kolkata which is also known as the cultural capital of India. A Graduate in Commerce from ‘Calcutta University’ which is defined by an unparalleled intellectual tradition of its own, Mr. Singh did his Master’s in Public Administration and a degree in ‘Law’. He is presently a member of Rajasthan High Court.
Having completed his Academics in Kolkata and then in Delhi for few years, Mr. Singh finally came to Jaipur as a part of his ‘spirited Mission’ to provide quality education in the city of Jaipur (Pink city).
In the past, Mr. Singh has had a successful stint as the Editor of a National magazine ‘Kalp Times’.
Recently, he submitted a Comprehensive report on Civil Services Reforms- ‘Futuristic Scenario’ to the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi.
His intellectual contributions over the years include a vast range of topics encompassing polity & Governance, economy, social and environmental issues etc. He has been contributing to the much esteemed daily ‘The Hindu’ for years (some of the published and unpublished writings are available at Director’s Desk, www.iiiasa.com Besides IAS aspirants, Mr. Singh has trained many Government officials for intra-department and inter-departmental promotional exams which marks the distinct institutional identity of IIIASA.
He enjoys the distinction of having scripted the documentary on ‘Special Protection Group'(SPG) in cooperation with Mr. Swaroop Ghosh, the Director, during the president ship of Mr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
